PHA-50 keyboard for an authentic playing feel

The 88 keys of the PHA-50 keyboard combine wood and resin in a hybrid construction with an escapement mechanism and textured Ebony/Ivory surfaces. The result is a touch that comes remarkably close to an acoustic grand piano, with the durability a stage instrument needs night after night.

Two engines, limitless sound design

V-Piano Technology delivers richly detailed acoustic piano tones with full polyphony, while the second, 128-voice SuperNATURAL engine provides electric pianos, organs, strings, brass, and synth sounds — including recreations of the classic RD-1000 and MKS-20. Over 1,100 tones and 100 scene memory slots ensure the right sound is always one touch away. As the EX model, it also comes with the two V-Piano Expansions “German Concert” and “Essential Upright” pre-installed from the factory — exactly what sets it apart from the base RD-2000.

Total real-time control

9 illuminated sliders and 8 LED-indicator knobs give direct access to sounds and effects without digging through menus. The onboard effects section combines modulation, amp simulation, reverb, delay, compressor, and equalizer processing with recreations of classic analog effects such as the BOSS CE-1 Chorus. 8 freely assignable zones let you layer internal sounds with external sources and software instruments.
