The MERIDA MA16OMCEQ-NT pairs a solid European spruce top with the striking look of rosewood on the back and sides, for an acoustic guitar that stands out. The OM cutaway body with built-in armrest makes it the guitar for you if you want clear tone and a distinctive look, on stage and at home.

Solid spruce meets rosewood

The solid European spruce top delivers a clear, overtone-rich attack, while the rosewood back and sides, with their bold and unique grain, add deep bass and a characterful tone. The sound stays defined even under a firm strumming hand.

Comfortable play up to the highest frets

The OM cutaway gives you easy access to the upper frets, and the built-in armrest protects both your forearm and the top during longer sessions. The flamed maple neck, with its 43 mm nut width and 650 mm scale length, sits comfortably in the hand.

Stage-ready with the Merida S2 pickup system

For amplified use, the Merida S2 pickup system includes a built-in tuner plus a control that blends between chorus/delay and reverb. The control panel also features a USB-C port. The bone nut and saddle support a clear, overtone-rich tone.

Your advantages at a glance:

• Expressive tone: solid spruce top and rosewood body for a clear sound with powerful bass.
