Description
It has a central bass note in the middle, surrounded by eight additional notes. These eight pitch fields each consist of two reeds, which reproduce the note in two octaves.
This creates a wonderful, meditative sound similar to that of a handpan.
The sound hole is located on the bottom of the drum, which can be closed with a silicone plug for an even more compact sound. There are also three silicone feet on the bottom to prevent the drum from slipping. You can play the Octave Steel Tongue Drum with mallets or, if you prefer, with your fingers. Simply place the drum on a flat surface or on your lap to start playing.
Included are two wooden mallets with rubber heads and a nice carrying bag with zipper and handle.
