The Responsive Hammer Compact keyboard brings 88 graded, weighted keys with a matte surface and new key damping for especially quiet playing. The bass registers feel heavier, while the treble responds with lightness – just like on an acoustic piano.

The sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand

The Harmonic Imaging sound engine delivers a richly varied sound with 25 voices and 192-note polyphony – from the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand to electric piano and string sounds, right through to an authentic upright piano tone. 6 reverb types along with damper and string resonance add further sonic depth.

Modern connectivity for practice and the stage

Stream music wirelessly from your smartphone via Bluetooth Audio 5.1, while Bluetooth MIDI and USB-MIDI connect the ES120 to a tablet or computer. Use the Kawai PianoRemote app to control nearly all functions comfortably from your phone, and the PiaBookPlayer app to access over 500 practice pieces including sheet music.
