The wooden frame, now extended to 5 back posts, and the cast-iron plate secured with two additional support screws create an exceptionally stable foundation. Combined with the solid, tapered spruce soundboard (1.39 sq m, 11 ribs), this produces a full, rounded tone that fills the room.
