At the heart of the K-300 is the Millennium III action, made from high-strength ABS-Carbon – lightweight, precise and remarkably responsive even in the fastest passages. The solid, tapered spruce soundboard with a surface area of 1.39 m² and 11 ribs amplifies the tone fully and evenly, while the mahogany hammer core with underfelt delivers finely graded dynamics from the softest pianissimo to the most powerful forte. The extended keyboard, finished in acrylic/phenolic, feels comfortable and secure under the fingers.

AURES 2 – play anytime, without disturbing anyone

With the AURES 2 system, the K-300 transforms instantly into a hybrid instrument: four transducers built into the soundboard reproduce the sampled sound of the renowned Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand, with 256-note polyphony and 90 voices – heard through headphones with Spatial Headphone Sound or streamed via Bluetooth audio/MIDI to external devices. This lets you practise at any time of day or night, without disturbing those around you.
