A piano with character: the Kawai K-200 in Ferrari Red

The Kawai K-200 is far more than an entry-level piano – it is a statement. Finished in a striking Ferrari Red high-gloss special lacquer, this compact upright from Kawai’s renowned K series combines superb craftsmanship with an unmistakable presence. Perfect for anyone who wants to pair classical piano playing with truly distinctive design.

Millennium III action: precision that lasts

At the heart of the K-200 is the Millennium III action. Its components are made from ABS-Carbon, a carbon-fibre-reinforced material that is extremely rigid yet lightweight. Three die-cast aluminium action rails add further long-term stability, even under changing temperature and humidity. The result is a fast, reliable repetition that keeps performing consistently for years.

Solid spruce soundboard for a full, rich tone

The solid, tapered spruce soundboard spans 1.32 m² and is supported by 10 ribs and 4 bridges. Combined with double-felted hammers with a mahogany core, it produces a warm, expressive tone with fine dynamic range, from the softest pianissimo to a powerful fortissimo.

Thoughtful details for everyday use

The keyboard lid closes slowly and safely thanks to the soft-fall system, a Tone Spreader beneath the keybed lets the sound project more freely, and individual castors make repositioning easy. Three pedals provide the full expressive range for classical playing.

Your benefits at a glance:
