The soundboard is the heart of every piano. On the K-200, it is crafted from carefully selected solid spruce with a surface area of 1.32 m² and ten ribs. Its tapered design towards the treble ensures even vibration transfer – the result is a round, warm tone with clear projection across the entire tonal range.

Millennium III action: outstanding precision in every touch

The Millennium III action is among the most advanced piano actions available today. Aluminium action rails and components made from the resilient ABS-Carbon composite deliver consistent precision, even under changing climate conditions. The mahogany-core hammers are double felted and fully underfelted, producing a warm, expressive touch across the full dynamic range.

Thoughtful details for comfort and durability

The back frame, built from sturdy glued laminated wood with four back posts, gives the entire instrument excellent stability. The keyboard lid closes gently thanks to the Soft-Fall system, a Tone Spreader beneath the keybed lets the sound unfold more freely, and individual casters make repositioning easy.
