Thermo-treated tonewoods for a dry, clear tone

A top of solid thermo-treated spruce, back and sides of solid thermo-treated service tree: both woods are heat-treated at around 195 °C and thereby artificially aged. The result is a dry, clear and surprisingly stable tone, the kind you usually only hear from instruments played in over many years. Because only European, thermo-modified woods are used, the guitar travels without complications – with no species-protection paperwork required.

Composite technology for volume and robustness

The carbon-reinforced back and glass-fibre-reinforced sides are the secret behind the 50TS’s powerful projection. They noticeably increase the output volume and make the body resistant to changes in temperature and humidity. The guitar translates every nuance of your attack directly into volume and delivers a strong attack – even while your playing technique is still developing.

Precise neck construction and fine woods

The thermo-treated cherry neck is reinforced along its full length with grenadilla, making it especially stiff and dimensionally stable – the basis for clean sustain. On the grenadilla fingerboard the strings separate clearly and precisely, while the Teflon-bushed Rubner Gold tuners ensure smooth, accurate tuning. The open-pored PUR matt finish lets the top vibrate freely and stays resistant to everyday signs of wear.
