The back and ribs are made of solid European maple, the top of solid European spruce – the classic tonewood combination for an open, resonant sound. The hand-applied, amber-brown natural resin varnish highlights the look while still letting the wood vibrate freely. The inlaid purfling rounds off the high-quality appearance.

Professionally set up with quality components

The original Aubert bridge comes pre-fitted, and the Wittner fine-tuning tailpiece allows for precise tuning without the pegs slipping. The violin is strung with Thomastik-Infeld AlphaYue strings for a round, warm tone with good response – easy to control for beginners too.
