Original Spanish heel - the heart of this guitar

The core of the CA-EUCM is its original Spanish heel. In this demanding construction method, the neck is built directly into the body rather than simply screwed or glued on. This creates an especially stable joint and direct vibration transfer between neck and body - every note comes through fuller and with more sustain. In this price range, a true Spanish heel is rare, because it is so time-consuming to build.

Solid red cedar top for a warm, Spanish sound

The solid Canadian red cedar top is responsible for the sought-after warm, dark tonal character with impressive depth in the bass. Unlike laminated tops, solid wood vibrates freely and develops its tone further over the years. Mahogany back and sides round off the warm foundation. The water-based, open-pore satin natural finish lets the top vibrate even more freely and preserves the natural feel of the wood.
