The Rhythmic Village Percussion Set from Voggenreiter introduces children to rhythm and note-reading in a playful way. A hand drum, sound bars and a jingle stick combine with the Rhythmic Village app, which uses the microphone to recognise which instrument is being played and guides young musicians through the village of the Rhythmiacs.

The app offers a child-friendly introduction to percussion: a story with charmingly designed characters, 70 rhythm challenges with increasing difficulty and ear-training exercises keep things varied and deliver quick learning success. Without an instrument at hand, 16 virtual percussion sounds built into the app take over.

The software runs on Windows, iOS, Android and macOS devices and detects the real instruments in real time via the device's microphone. The licence covers 3 devices, so siblings or several children can practise at the same time.
