Modern Elegance Meets Spanish Craftsmanship

The Alhambra 1 C Black Satin is the stylish choice for anyone taking their first steps on a classical guitar or looking to accompany their playing with an instrument full of character. Here the Spanish workshop Alhambra combines the proven construction of its popular 1 series with an elegant matt black finish. The result is a full 4/4 classical guitar that not only stands out visually but, thanks to its solid cedar top, also convinces in terms of sound.

Solid Cedar Top for a Warm, Open Sound

The heart of every classical guitar is its top. The 1 C Black Satin has a solid cedar top, which provides a warm, full sound with a quick response – typical of the characteristic Alhambra tone. Combined with back and sides in sapeli from the mahogany family, this creates a balanced foundation with pleasant depth.

The Matt Finish Lets the Wood Vibrate Freely

There is more behind the modern black look than just design. The satin finish is thinner than a traditional high-gloss lacquer, which allows the top to vibrate more freely. The result is a direct, open sound. At the same time, the matt surface feels smooth and shows fingerprints far less – ideal for the stage, video and daily practice.

Spanish Construction and Comfortable Playability

The 1 C Black Satin is made in Spain and assembled in the traditional way with a Spanish heel – this joins neck and body particularly securely and benefits the sound. A neck of African mahogany and a rosewood fingerboard, a scale length of 650 mm and a nut width of 52 mm give the familiar playing feel of a classical concert guitar. The action is set up for beginner-friendly playing.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Warm Alhambra sound: the solid cedar top delivers a full, open sound with a quick response.
• Elegant looks, fewer fingerprints: the matt black satin finish looks modern and stays good-looking in everyday use.
• Genuine Spanish craftsmanship: made in Spain in the traditional way with a Spanish heel.
• Beginner-friendly: a well-adjusted action and familiar 4/4 dimensions make learning easier.
• Ready to play straight away: includes a padded Alhambra gig bag for protection and transport.
