Duplex scaling adds extra overtones and a particularly rich tonal palette. Key surfaces in acrylic resin (white) and phenolic resin (black) provide reliable grip even during intensive playing, while the Sostenuto centre pedal extends your expressive range.

SH3 Silent Piano system: grand piano sound through headphones

The SH3 system binaurally samples two reference grand pianos – the brilliant Yamaha CFX and the warm, colourful Bösendorfer Imperial – and combines this with Virtual Resonance Modeling and Grand Expression Modeling for an exceptionally natural playing feel through headphones. The non-contact articulation sensor captures every nuance of touch, while the Quick Escape mechanism preserves familiar playability.
