Yamaha FSC-TA: magical sound, without an amplifier

The Yamaha FSC-TA from the TransAcoustic series brings studio sound straight into your living room. An actuator built into the body sets the guitar top into vibration, producing authentic, purely acoustic reverb and chorus – no cable, amplifier or effects unit required. Ideal for fingerstyle players, returning guitarists and anyone who wants an inspiring, room-filling sound at home.

TransAcoustic technology: studio sound at the touch of a button

At the heart of the FSC-TA is the SYSTEM70 electronics with TransAcoustic function: the TA switch activates reverb and chorus that resonate directly from the sound hole, no amplifier needed. For the stage, the guitar can also be plugged into an amplifier in the conventional way, transmitting the effects too, controlled via the line-out volume. A battery is required for reverb and chorus (not included).

Premium tonewoods for a warm, clear sound

The solid spruce top delivers a clear, bright tone with excellent dynamics that continues to open up over years of playing. The mahogany back and sides add a pleasant warmth. The compact Concert Cutaway body, with a 634 mm scale length and 43 mm nut width, sits comfortably in the hands even during long playing sessions.
