The Meinl Sonic Energy Thunder Drum produces impressive sound effects that evoke rolling thunder. Manufactured from lightweight, stable synthetic material, it fits comfortably in your hand and is easy to play. Let the metal spring hang loosely and move the instrument with light hand movements to produce the typical thunder sound. When you tap the spring with your hand, sharp, hissing accents are created. By opening and closing the sound opening, you can create additional effects – up to wah-wah-like sounds.
