The Yamaha YUS1 SH3 combines the craftsmanship and the warm, singing tone of the renowned YUS series with one of Yamaha's most advanced Silent systems. For ambitious pianists who do not want to give up an acoustic instrument of concert quality and still want to practise flexibly – even late in the evening or in flats with thin walls.

Yamaha SH3 Silent System: Concert Hall Sound Through Headphones

One touch is all it takes and the hammer heads stop just before the strings – you play silently and listen through two headphone outputs. The SH3 system samples the sound of the Yamaha CFX concert grand and of the Bösendorfer Imperial binaurally and provides 25 voices as well as 256-note polyphony. Via Bluetooth Audio/MIDI you connect your smartphone or tablet and control the instrument conveniently with the Smart Pianist app.

The keyboard with key surfaces made of Ivorite (white) and phenolic resin (black) provides a grippy, fatigue-free playing feel. Three pedals – damper, Silent pedal (middle pedal) and soft – give you the full tonal expressiveness of a traditional Yamaha upright piano.
