TransAcoustic TA3: the soundboard becomes a speaker

The TransAcoustic TA3 system turns your piano’s soundboard itself into a sound source: digital sounds, including samples of the Yamaha CFX concert grand, are transmitted directly to the soundboard via a transducer and resonate with natural, acoustic warmth. A non-contact articulation sensor system and hammer sensors capture every nuance of touch, keeping your playing impressively authentic even in TA or Silent mode through headphones.

Connected and recording-ready

Via Bluetooth Audio/MIDI, the C3X TA3 connects to the Smart Pianist app, letting you choose sounds, control recordings and analyse your playing. Your own performances can be recorded directly as WAV or MIDI files onto a USB stick.
