The material is significantly lighter than traditional wood while remaining extremely rigid, enabling faster repetition and more nuanced touch control. White keys are finished in acrylic, black keys in phenol – both provide secure grip even during intensive playing. Mahogany hammer cores with additional underfelt deliver a round, powerful tone across the full range.

The tapered solid spruce soundboard is the tonal foundation of the GL-10: it converts string vibration into a full, warm and clear sound.
