Concert grand tone thanks to the V-Pro frame and CX hammers

The V-Pro cast iron frame and the hammers developed specifically for the CX Series deliver a powerful, carrying tone with long sustain – from the most delicate pianissimo to a full fortissimo. The 88 keys, finished in ivory-imitation (white) and WPC (black), provide a secure grip even during long practice sessions.

Play in silence, stay connected

In Silent mode, the hammers stop just before the strings, so you play through headphones using binaural samples of the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand. Bluetooth MIDI connects the C5X to the Yamaha Smart Pianist app, while a built-in recorder and USB-stick recording in WAV format round out the digital feature set.
