The Yamaha C1X in polished ebony combines the balanced tonal culture of the renowned CX range with the most compact dimensions in the series. It therefore also fits into living rooms that would actually be too small for a classic concert grand - without any compromise in tonal volume. With the integrated SH3 Silent System you can also play silently through headphones at any time, with no regard for the time of day or the neighbours.

Concert-Standard Sound from a Solid Soundboard

The solid STRUNZ spruce soundboard and the German bass strings provide a full tone rich in overtones, typical of Yamaha concert grand pianos. The 88 keys with IVORITE keytops offer the grippy feel of real ivory and ebony - a pleasant, non-slip touch even during long playing sessions.

SH3 Silent System: Concert Grand Sound through Headphones Too

Activate the silent function and you play with high-resolution, binaural samples of the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand pianos - with 256-note polyphony and 25 voices. Via Bluetooth you connect your smartphone or tablet, control the instrument through the Smart Pianist app and record your playing directly as a WAV or MIDI file onto a USB stick.
