Description
The warm, carrying tenor for your ensemble
With the Küng STUDIO 1501 in pearwood, you bring home a tenor recorder in c' from genuine Swiss manufacture. Küng Blockflötenbau's STUDIO series combines clean craftsmanship with a pleasantly warm tone – the ideal instrument for players who carry the middle or first voice in an ensemble and value reliable intonation.
Pearwood and baroque fingering for a round, warm tone
The body of natural pearwood is paraffin-impregnated on the inside, with both the bore and the surface oiled – this protects the wood and gives a soft, overtone-rich sound. The wide bore and medium breath pressure make for an agreeably direct response. It is played in baroque fingering at a pitch of a' = 442 Hz, the standard for playing in modern ensembles.
Keyless and handy – easy to reach even for small hands
Unlike many tenors, the STUDIO 1501 does without a key. That keeps the instrument light and uncomplicated: the finger holes are laid out so that the little finger of the lower hand reaches comfortably – a real advantage for longer playing and for anyone moving up from the alto to the tenor.
Your advantages at a glance:
- Warm manufacture tone: pearwood, paraffined and oiled inside, for a round, overtone-rich sound.
- Tuned for the ensemble: a' = 442 Hz and baroque fingering for clean ensemble playing.
- Easy to play: keyless design, well within reach even for the lower little finger.
- Direct response: wide bore and medium breath pressure for effortless playing.
- Ready to go: bag, cleaning rod and fingering chart included.
