Description

The D'Angelico Premier Bowery LS is the base model of the brand's electro-acoustic guitars in the popular dreadnought shape. The body of the instrument is made of laminated mahogany. The mahogany neck with a "C" profile is glued to a heat-treated merbau fingerboard (torrefied) featuring twenty medium-jumbo frets. Orientation on the surface is facilitated by imitation mother-of-pearl fret markers. The narrower neck profile and lower body cutout ensure easy picking and smooth hand movement across the entire surface of the fingerboard. The guitar's excellent acoustic properties are enhanced by the reduced X-shaped fretwork (Scalloped X).

The guitar's body is balanced by a headstock in the traditional shape of D'Angelico instruments, decorated with the company logo in imitation mother-of-pearl. The strings are mounted in chrome-plated tuners and a Merbau headstock above the nut and zero fret made of plastic (PPS) from the aforementioned company. The instrument's appearance is enhanced by a rosette made of black and white ABS rings and black and white body binding.

The instrument is powered by a D'Angelico MG-30 preamp with a tuner built into the guitar neck.
