The top is made of solid European spruce, while the back and sides are crafted from lightly flamed, solid European maple – the same wood combination found on far more expensive master violins. The red-brown natural resin varnish is applied by hand, giving every violin subtle, individual colour nuances.

Fine-tuning that works for beginners too

The Milo Stamm bridge ensures precise transmission of string vibrations, while the Wittner fine-tuning tailpiece lets you adjust all four strings via small screws – ideal when children can't yet handle traditional pegs. The Wittner fine-tuning pegs with planetary gear make first-time tuning even easier. The violin is strung with Larsen Aurora strings, known for their warm, carrying tone.
