Genuine saxophone feel thanks to the integrated acoustic system

At its heart is the Integrated Bell Acoustic System (IBAS): a speaker unit and a real brass bell together form a patented acoustic system. Your breath drives the sound through the mouthpiece, which sets the brass bell resonating, creating the sound vibration and the physical playing feel of an acoustic saxophone even though the tone is generated digitally.

Familiar fingering and broad tonal range

Anyone who already plays the saxophone feels at home straight away: the fingering matches that of an acoustic saxophone, including high F#, front F and low A. 73 voices, 56 of them distinct saxophone sounds from velvety jazz to a classical line, plus five effect types for headphone use open up a wide expressive range. With a tuning range of 427.0 to 453.0 Hz, the instrument can be matched precisely to ensemble and accompaniment.

Connected and flexible for everyday use

Via Bluetooth audio you play along to backing tracks from your smartphone, the stereo headphone output allows silent practice, and the micro-USB port integrates the instrument with your music software. The free YDS Control app lets you fine-tune sound and response. The YDS 150 runs on either four AAA batteries or a USB power adapter, so you can play on the move without a power socket.
