Yamaha B20 – rich piano sound for your home

The Yamaha B20 sits in the middle of the new Yamaha B-Series and is designed for advancing players and ambitious beginners who want more volume and depth than an entry-level upright. With a height of 116 cm and a larger soundboard than the more compact B10, it delivers deeper bass and a fuller, warmer tone, housed in an elegant console cabinet finished in Polished Ebony.

Solid soundboard and proven Yamaha action

A solid spruce soundboard produces natural vibration and a balanced, dynamic tone. The 88 keys with Yamaha action and B-Series Special hammers (with underfelt for a warmer tone) offer good repetition and a precise touch. The V-Pro cast iron frame with 5 back posts ensures excellent tuning stability over many years.

Three versions: acoustic, Silent (SC3) or TransAcoustic (TC3)

The B20 is available in three versions. The acoustic version delivers the classic piano experience with a soft-close fallboard. The B20 SC3 with Silent system lets you mute the acoustic sound and practise digitally through headphones, ideal for flats or late-night sessions. The B20 TC3 with TransAcoustic system uses the soundboard itself as a resonating body for digital sounds and can also connect via Bluetooth. Both digital versions ship with Yamaha headphones included.
