A real saxophone feel thanks to authentic fingering

The YDS-120 uses the same fingering as an acoustic saxophone – including High-F#, Front-F and Low-A. Experienced saxophonists feel at home right away, while beginners learn the correct fingerings from the start. A breath sensor turns your blowing pressure into natural dynamics, so both soft and powerful passages come across expressively.

Authentic sound through AWM Sampling

The sounds are based on Yamaha's AWM Sampling – real recordings of acoustic Yamaha saxophones from soprano to baritone. In total there are 73 voices, 56 of them saxophone sounds, plus further instruments to explore. A 15-step volume control and five headphone effects give you control, from quiet night-time practice to a full, rounded sound.
