A branched pipe system instead of valves

The Trova’s branched pipe system produces the same harmonic series as a B-flat trumpet, with no valves and no fingerings. The note is formed purely by the vibration of the lips at the mouthpiece, exactly as on a real trumpet. This trains the embouchure from the very beginning and makes the later move to a full trumpet noticeably easier.

Light, robust and easy to care for

At around 180 grams of sturdy aluminium tubing, the Trova sits effortlessly in small hands, while a full-size trumpet weighs six times as much. The bell can be removed to lower the volume, making it an ideal companion at home. And because the whole instrument simply rinses clean with water, care stays as carefree as the playing itself.
